About me

My specialty lies within qualitative anthropological field studies. Having spent half of my life living in Morocco, my interests consist of the complex comprehension of human diversity. For this reason I studied Anthropology and Visual practice at Goldsmiths university of London. My proficiency to analyse cultural semiotics and discern recurring patterns in human behaviour has given me the ability to examine trends and  to create targeted campaigns that speak to a particular audience.

Apart from my knowledge on ethnographic analysis, I had undergone a semester in University College London (UCL) where I was taught human behavioural ecology, this gave me the ability to evaluate human behaviour within ecological context. I am able to determine how ecological and social factors influence and shape behavioural flexibility within and between human populations. I had also spent another semester at SOAS University of London where I developed my understanding on psychological anthropology, providing me with the capability of to understanding how the intersection of culture, mind, and personality interact.

Apart from written articles I have also made a documentary and short ethnographic videos, my experience in both film and ethnography enables a comprehensive grasp of social media and technology. The ability to combine creative thinking with an analytical head facilitates not only research-based understanding but also visual communication of findings.
